The second annual Luton Apprenticeship Awards took place on Thursday 12 February at Putteridge Bury, celebrating the achievements of Luton’s apprentices and recognising the employers and training providers who support them.

Luton residents are invited to attend a free job fair hosted by Luton Council in partnership with the Department for Work and Pensions and Luton Town Football Club.

A business operator and its director have been fined following serious food hygiene offences discovered at two premises in Luton.

Luton Council has started delivering food waste caddies to over 60,000 households ahead of the introduction of weekly food waste collections from Tuesday 31 March, as part of the government’s Simpler Recycling legislation.
