The new school year may only just have begun, but for parents and carers of children in Year 6, the countdown to selecting a secondary school has already started, with the deadline to apply for a high school place fast approaching.

A major boost for grassroots cricket in Luton is on the way, as work is set to begin on the UK’s largest, state-of-the-art indoor cricket dome at Lewsey Park.
