Electoral registration
Annual Canvass
We are carrying out our Annual Canvass to check that our electoral register information is correct for your address.
If you are on our electoral register, you will receive an email with a unique security code and link to the Annual Canvass website, where you can update your information.
The register is used for electoral purposes, such as making sure only eligible people can vote. It's also used for other limited purposes specified in law such as:
- checking credit applications
- detecting crime such as fraud
- calling people for jury service
You're not automatically registered if you pay Council Tax. You will need to register yourself. No one else can do it for you.
