08/10/2024 - Popular fireworks display returns to Luton

Luton Fireworks Spectacular is returning this year to Popes Meadow on Saturday 2 November, where residents can once again come together to enjoy a stunning display of colour and light in the sky.

The event will run from 6.30pm to 8.30pm, with the free display starting at 7.30pm. Attendees are encouraged to arrive as early as possible from 6.30pm to secure a good spot to enjoy the show. There will also be fairground rides for children, hot snacks and drinks.

This popular event is possible thanks to sponsorship through our airport company, Luton Rising.

Cllr Javeria Hussain, Vice Chair of Luton Rising, said: “Our stunning fireworks display at Popes Meadow is one of Luton's most well-attended events, and we look forward to seeing residents once again enjoy a great evening of entertainment with delicious snacks and drinks.

“The free display also means that residents don’t have to arrange their own. Fireworks are noisy and can be alarming for many people and pets, as well as a danger to bystanders if they are not managed very carefully – so we are encouraging people who want to enjoy the fireworks to come along to our organised display, and make sure to get there early to secure a good spot.”
