14/10/2025 - Luton Rising Fireworks Spectacular 2025 lights up Popes Meadow

Luton's much-loved free community fireworks display is back! On Saturday 1 November, the skies over Popes Meadow will be ablaze with vibrant colour and light as the Luton Rising Fireworks Spectacular returns for 2025.

The event runs from 6.30pm to 8.30pm, with the spectacular show set to begin at 7.30pm. Residents are encouraged to arrive early from 6.30pm to claim the best vantage points to enjoy the dazzling display. Families will also find plenty to enjoy, including fairground rides for children, plus a selection of hot snacks and drinks.

This celebrated community occasion is proudly brought to life through sponsorship by Luton Rising, owner of London Luton Airport, reaffirming its commitment to supporting local events that bring people together.

Councillor Javeria Hussain, Vice Chair of Luton Rising, said: “The Fireworks Spectacular at Popes Meadow is a highlight of Luton’s events calendar. We’re excited to welcome residents back for an evening of breathtaking entertainment, great food, and festive fun.

“By providing a free, organised fireworks display, we help ensure the safety and enjoyment of the whole community. Fireworks can be distressing for pets and vulnerable people, and unsafe use at home can be dangerous. We encourage families to join us for this fantastic display and arrive early to find the best spot.”
