Luton Town Centre and Surrounds Article 4 direction comes into effect 6 October 2023

The new Article 4 direction at Luton Town Centre and Surrounds comes into effect 6 October 2023 following confirmation of this Article 4 direction on 25 January 2023.

As such permitted development rights have been removed within the red line boundary detailed in these directions.The article 4 direction can be viewed on the current article 4 direction page.

Updates to existing Article 4 direction at Butterfield Green and Capability Green.

The updated article 4 directions at Butterfield Green and Capability Green came into effect on 1 August 2022 when the previous article 4 direction at these locations expired on 31 July 2022.
