Luton Citizens' Fund decision days will take place on the following dates. All residents are encouraged to attend and help decide where £360,000 of funding to charities is allocated.

Luton Citizen's Fund: process stages

  1. Fund open for applications October to November 2021
  2. BLCF staff carry out due diligence checks and discuss your application with you November 2021***
  3. A panel from the local community review and discuss the applications December***
  4. Shortlisted group invited to a participatory decision day where voting will determine funding January***
  5. BLCF staff arrange for grant agreements and payments to be made February to March 2022
  6. Grantees deliver projects and initiatives to the communities in need March to November 2022
  7. Grantees report on impact and outcomes December 2022
  8. Feedback used to improve the participatory budgeting fund and influence Luton2040 strategy

*** If you are unsuccessful at any of these stages we may consider your application at our next general panel if eligible, otherwise we will provide feedback and signpost you for further support
