News

Residents across Luton are invited to our upcoming job fair which will provide opportunities to residents looking for work or a career change.

The job fair, which will be held on Thursday 20 March at The Dallow Centre, will allow job seekers to explore career options, gain valuable insights into the job market and network with employers from various industries such as sports, aviation, transportation, healthcare, arts and culture and more. This variety ensures that there's something for everyone.

Employers and local organisations that are expected to take part include Arriva, Bedfordshire Police, Connect2Luton, Home Instead, Luton Airport, Luton Town Football Club, The Launch Group, The Culture Trust and Luton Council’s recruitment team.

For residents who have been out of the workforce for some time, representatives from Luton Adult Learning will be on hand to provide guidance and support on training opportunities, job hunting and career development.

Councillor Javeria Hussain, Portfolio Holder for Skills and Employability, said: “We’re committed to supporting employment in Luton, and this event is a fantastic opportunity for local jobseekers to meet directly with employers and learn more about the career paths available to them.

“We encourage anyone looking for employment, a change of career or support around employability to attend.”

The community job fair will be held on Thursday 20 March from 1pm to 4pm, at The Dallow Centre, 234 Dallow Rd, LU1 1TB.

Admission is free and attendees do not need to register.
