A number of events planned as part of national Heritage Open Days Week have been postponed or cancelled as a mark of respect during this national period of mourning.
All events organised by the council have been cancelled or postponed. However, some of the events are organised by independent organisations who will make a decision on their own events. We therefore recommend you check their social media or contact them direct.
Please see information below regarding the events we are aware of:
The council-run Heritage Open Days:
- Members Heritage Open Day – Wednesday 14 September – postponed until further notice
- High Sheriff and Lord Lieutenant Heritage Visit to Luton – Wednesday 14 September – postponed until further notice
- Luton Town Hall Open House – Saturday 17 September – cancelled
Heritage Open Day events run by independent organisations that have been postponed or cancelled:
- Luton Irish Forum Bandstand – Saturday 17 September – cancelled
- Luton Brass Band at the Bandstand – Sunday 18 September – cancelled
- Eastfest – Sunday 18 September – moved to Sunday 25 September
