25/10/2022 - An update on bin collections

We are very sorry that we have been experiencing operational difficulties recently due to high numbers of Refuse Driver vacancies. We are doing everything we can to attract recruits to the council, but this could take some time.

We have worked hard over the last couple of years to maintain our services to all our residents and we will continue to do so even if that means asking our crews to work weekends.

We fully appreciate how frustrating this is for people, are sorry for the inconvenience and we want to assure you we are treating this as a priority.
