Compliance

The compliance stage fee of £75 is raised when the bailiff receives your case.

The compliance stage gives you with the opportunity to make contact with us to make full payment, or to discuss an arrangement. A bailiff will not visit your property during this stage.

We must issue you a Notice of Enforcement during this stage and allow at least seven clear days from the issue of the notice before we visit.

The compliance stage fee is charged on each case we receive for you, even if several cases are received at the same time.

If you can’t pay in full then please contact us to discuss your circumstances and see if we can accept an arrangement.

Enforcement

The enforcement stage fee of £235 plus 7.5% of the value of the original debt which exceeds £1,500. For example:

Debt referred £500 £1,500 £1,600 £2,000
Fixed enforcement fee £235 £235 £235 £235
7.5% variable fee £0 £0 £8 £38
Total fee raised £235 £235 £243 £273

These fees are raised upon the first visit to your premises by the bailiff.

Your case will have moved on to the enforcement stage either because you have failed to contact us within the specified timescale in the compliance stage, or because you have defaulted on any arrangements you have made with us.

Sale

The sale fee of £110 is raised when we have taken control of your goods and attend to arrange for those goods to be removed.

For larger balances and multiple cases please note an additional fee of 7.5% of the debt over £1,500 is charged on top of the £110. As the fees are prescribed under the above regulations, we are unable to reduce or cancel any charges raised. For example:

Debt referred £500 £1,500 £1,600 £2,000
Fixed enforcement fee £110 £110 £110 £110
7.5% variable fee £0 £0 £7.50 £38
Total fee raised £110 £110 £117.50 £148
