With everyone feeling the pinch at the moment, we'd like to signpost you to guidance, financial help, wellbeing support and offers that may help.

General advice

• Luton, supporting you - help with food, paying bills and rising energy costs, benefits and other financial help, employment guidance, housing advice and mental health support.

Financial help

• Salary Finance loans - consolidate debt into one lower, monthly repayment, deducted directly from your pay.
• Kaarp employee discount scheme* - discounts include groceries, gifts, motoring, insurance and entertainment activities.
• Money and Pensions Service - financial wellbeing in the workplace.

Wellbeing support

• Employee assistance programme (EAP)* - our free, confidential counselling and wellbeing support service available to all council employees, their partners and dependent children over 16 still living at home.

National advice and guidance agencies

• Citizens Advice - a network of independent charities offering free confidential advice online, over the phone, and in person. 
• Money Saving Expert (Martin Lewis) - cost of living crisis help.
• Turn2Us - a national charity providing practical help to people who are struggling financially.
