ECO4 and GBIS installers
The ECO4 and GBIS (Great British Insulation Scheme) along with the local authority flexibility grant schemes are managed by Ofgem and the funding for improvements is awarded by the energy companies.
Luton Council has limited involvement and are not responsible for:
- issuing the funding
- appointing contractors
- installing the works
- checking the quality of the work undertaken
In order to help safe guard our residents, we've carried out an extensive on-boarding process to ensure companies working either under the current ECO4 and GBIS grant schemes have been verified.
All companies are required to be TrustMark registered and belong to an Accreditation Body to undertake any work under the various grant schemes.
Please note: the installer companies listed below are not contracted by us and neither do they work on behalf of the Luton Council.
We've carried out extensive checks and a vetting process to ensure the installer companies listed below are fully compliant to deliver works under the ECO4 scheme within the Luton area.
Only those companies shown below have been approved to submit ECO4 and GBIS LA Flex applications to us. We will not accept any ECO4 or GBIS LA Flex applications from installer companies which are not registered or approved via our on-boarding process.
Each company listed below (in alphabetical order) will be able to provide you with further information on the range of energy efficiency improvements they specialise in.
