Make a Council Tax payment arrangement
If you are struggling to make payments towards your Council Tax Bill because you are on low income and have little saving, you may be entitled to Council Tax reduction.
If your payment is late or you don't pay your Council Tax, we’ll send you a reminder letter and if your account is not brought up to date, further recovery action will be taken.
We may be able to help you by making a different payment arrangement to the arrangement set out on your initial Council Tax Bill.
If you have missed more than one payment on your Council Tax bill and have received a reminder or a summons, you may still be able to come to a payment arrangement with us to clear your arrears without any further enforcement action.
Please complete the Council Tax payment arrangement request as soon as possible for consideration. Once assessed, we will contact you back with details of the agreement put into place.
If you have missed one Council Tax payment and have not yet received a reminder or summons, you should make the payment as soon as possible to prevent further enforcement action. The quickest way to do this is to make the payment online
