Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) elections 2020

The election for Police and Crime Commissioner will take place on Thursday 7 May 2020.
You will be asked to vote for a Police and Crime Commissioner for Bedfordshire.
Polling stations will be open from 7am to 10pm. You can use the polling station lookup tool to locate your polling station.
The statement of persons nominated (the list of candidates standing at the election) will be published no later than 4pm on Thursday 9 April 2020.
All election notices will be first published on the council’s website and the Town Hall noticeboard.
How to vote
If you are currently on the electoral register you will receive a poll card by Monday 6 April 2020.
This will tell you how, where and when to vote. This card is for information only and you can still vote without the poll card. Please give your name and address to the poll clerk to collect your ballot paper at the polling station.
If you know you will not be able to get to the polling station on election day, you can apply for a postal vote or a proxy vote.

If you're not currently on the register, then you need to complete a registration form.
Verification and count
Due to the May bank holiday, the verification and count will take place on Monday 11 May 2020 at the Inspire: Luton Sports Village and the result will be published on the council’s website.
Access to the count is restricted to candidates, agents and the returning officers staff.
