Ethnicity, Health Conditions
We collect and process your data to:
- Record your interest in self- build and custom build register.
- Verify local connection in relation to the self-build and custom build register.
- Send you information on available self- build sites and networking events.
- Carry out future planning for housing development.
- Understand land availability needs.
- Use information to manage Right to Buy sales and purchases.
- Verify householders meet the eligibility criteria for energy efficiency grant funding programmes.
Depending on the service(s) received, the information we hold will vary however, it may include the following personal and special category data.

Purpose for using it
We use your personal data to:
- Determine eligibility to be included on the self-build register
- Check eligibility in relation to exemption from Right of First Refusal restrictions
- Approve applications under the ECO4 LA Flex grant funding
- Refer you to other grant funding schemes
- Requirement by the grant funder for auditing purposes

Retention period
The data will be kept in accordance with our retention schedule and we will not hold data for longer than necessary.
Exercising your rights
You have the right to ask us to amend or delete your data as well transfer or limit its use. You also have the right to request a review of an automated decision where you think this is wrong.
Each request will be considered individually. Where we are required to keep your data by law we may be unable to action your request. In all circumstances we will explain our decision making in writing to you.
