We are delighted to welcome His Majesty The King to Luton, Tuesday 6 Dec

We are honoured that he is returning to our town so early in his reign.

He will attend a number of private meetings at which he will meet representatives of our diverse communities: at the Town Hall; the newly built Guru Nanak Gurdwara and take a trip on the Luton DART which is due to open next year.

As a result of his visit there will be a number of road closures around the town centre for most of the day.

The following roads will be closed from 06:00 to 17:00 on Tuesday 6 Dec:

George St
Upper George St
Manchester St
Wellington Street (from junction at Stuart St to George St)
Bridge St
Library Road
Guildford St (from junction with Mill St)
New Bedford Rd (from Junction with Mill St)
Gordon St
