Autumn challenge poster

Luton Sustainable Travel Pledge - 'Let’s Make Every Journey Count' and be entered into a prize draw!

Every journey we take has the power to make a difference for our health, our community, and our planet. By signing this pledge, you commit to exploring and adopting more sustainable ways of travelling. Whether it’s walking, cycling, using public transport and or car-sharing. Every step you take helps to cut carbon emissions, ease congestion, and create cleaner air for all.

Sustainable travel not only protects our environment it also boosts physical activity, supports mental wellbeing, and helps improve the health of Luton’s residents. Together, we can build a healthier, greener, and more connected Luton.

Example of Luton Council pledge

We pledge to make our journeys matter for our health, community, and our planet. We will choose sustainable travel options whenever possible, such as walking, cycling, using public transport or car-sharing. By doing so, we will help reduce carbon emissions, improve air quality, and contribute to a healthier Luton for everyone.

Who can sign up for the pledge?

Everyone has a part to play!

We believe that creating a whole-community approach is essential to addressing challenges and achieving shared goals. To truly make a difference, we must work together as a coalition of allies building knowledge, understanding how we can improve sustainable travel in Luton and improve physical activity. Together, we can create a healthier, more active Luton for all.

Making your commitment

To sign up to our sustainable travel Pledge, we invite you to submit a short statement outlining how you will champion this initiative. By completing the pledge will automatically enter a prize draw and contacted after this challenge.
