Memorial Park

Luton Hoo Memorial Park, established in 1920, honours those who served in World War I while providing a peaceful green space for the community.

The park features a central war memorial, dedicated by Lady Ludlow to her son who fell in the Great War.

Today, it’s a popular spot for locals, offering walking paths, a children’s play area, and open spaces for relaxation. The park’s mature trees and well-maintained grounds make it a welcome retreat from the busy town.

Whether you’re looking to enjoy a family outing, or simply take a quiet stroll, Memorial Park welcomes visitors of all ages.

The park facilities includes:

  • parking (disabled bays available)
  • circular accessible walk
  • historic features
  • children’s play area
  • tennis courts
  • bowling green
  • pavilion
  • community garden
