Football and rugby

There are lots of pitches in Luton's parks and recreation grounds, including ones at:

  • Crawley Green recreation ground
  • Lewsey Park
  • Lothair Road Recreation Ground (Stopsley)
  • Stockwood Park

We have adult, junior, mini-soccer and gaelic/camogie pitches. A multi-use games area (MUGA) is also available at Lewsey Park. To find out more information including prices and booking, visit football and rugby pitches.

There are tennis courts in the following parks:

  • Wardown
  • Memorial
  • Lewsey
  • Lancaster Avenue

The courts in Wardown and Memorial parks are locked. You'll need to make a booking to use them. This is to reduce the amount of non-tennis use they get.

There's currently no charge to use them, but they should be booked in advance to get the access code that unlocks the gates. Visit to book.
