Local Restrictions Support Grant (Closed)

Businesses that were open as usual and providing in-person services to customers from their business premises and then required to close under Local Covid alert Level Tier 2​ or Tier 3 restrictions (mainly pubs and clubs not operating as restaurants) for a c​onsecutive period of no less than 14 days will be eligible for this funding. This is referred to as the qualifying restriction period.

  • Businesses occupying hereditame​nts appearing on the local rating list with a rateable value of exactly £15,000 or under on 2 December 2020 will receive a payment of £667 per 14-day qualifying restriction period
  • Businesses occupying hereditaments appearing on the local rating list with a rateable value over £15,000 and less than £51,000 on the 2 December 2020 will receive a payment of £1,000 per 14-day qualifying restriction period
  • Businesses occupying hereditaments appearing on the local rating list with a rateable value of exactly £51,000 or above on the 2 December 2020, will receive £1,500 per 14-day qualifying restriction period

Local Restrictions Support Grant (Open)

This funding is targeted at hospitality, hotel, bed & breakfast and leisure businesses. The Local Restrictions Support Grant (Open) funding can help kickstart recovery by supporting sustainable businesses that have not been legally required to close but which were severely impacted by local 2 or 3 restrictions.

  • rateable value of your business premises
  • National Insurance number
  • companies House or Charity registration number
  • bank details
  • state aid receipt information
  • any other evidence to show the impact of increased restrictions on your business
