Countryside volunteers

There are many opportunities with local conservation groups for volunteers to join in with practical conservation tasks on Luton's countryside sites.

People interested in becoming a volunteer can help with a number of practical tasks through one of the established groups that work with the Nature Conservation Service for the council.

The Wildlife Trust and the Luton and Dunstable Conservation Volunteers help with important nature conservation work on the sites managed by the council.

There are seasonal programmes put together by these groups along with our own Parks and Countryside volunteer programme all of which are available to see by joining the Parks and Countryside Volunteers mailing list. You can sign up to this mailing list here.
