Dangerous structures and public safety

All buildings which appear to be dangerous should be reported to the council who will treat the matter with the utmost urgency.

The Building Control team has responsibility for dealing with dangerous structures, for example unstable walls and chimney stacks, loose guttering overhanging the highway etc.

It is our aim to inspect all reported dangerous structures within 48 hours
