A place to teach and learn
Luton is the ideal venue in which to begin or develop your teaching career.
A varied and supportive induction programme will ensure you are supported effectively in the early phases of what we hope will be a long and fruitful time for you as an education professional within the borough.
A unitary authority since April 1997, Luton provides a wide range of educational opportunities to young people in 71 secondary, primary, junior, infant, nursery and special schools.
We are a dynamic, forward thinking authority with genuine commitment to school improvement. We realise that in order to achieve our overall aim of raising both the expectations and achievement levels of all our pupils, we need teachers with energy, vision and the ability to inspire and challenge.
