Get started with sport - Prince's Trust

The Prince’s Trust is running a free sports leaders programme with Luton Town FC.

Young people will learn leadership skills that can be transferred across a wide range of sports and benefit their personal development. It is open to anyone aged 16-25 and working fewer than 16 hours a week.

This is a fantastic opportunity for young people to build confidence, improve their personal skills and prepare for employment. All they need is an interest in sport.

Dates: Monday 3 to Friday 7 October

What's involved: During this course you will:

gain the Level 1 Sports Leaders qualification
develop leadership skills that can be applied to a variety of situation
improve teamwork, communication skills and boost confidence
receive three months’ support from the Prince’s Trust after the programme to help move into work, education, training or volunteering

Taster day: 27 September (lunch and travel expenses will be provided)
