Luton is a caring and compassionate town which will do whatever it can to support people in need.

We’ve always shown this compassion by the way Luton and its communities have supported a significant number of asylum seekers over many years.

Luton Foodbank is able to receive items – please visit the Luton Foodbank website to see what items they're accepting.

Donate to the 'Support for refugees' JustGiving page, which has has been set up by a number of local charities. Money raised will go to support Afghans during their stay in Luton and provide support which could range from:

  • essential items to language skills
  • family support
  • community integration
