What will the lecture be about?
In this inaugural professorial lecture, Professor Yi Wang will discuss the challenges of data analysis and management across business analytics. The lecture will cover the new challenges brought by extending the scope of systems thinking and present a vision towards advanced decision support to be realised over the next decade.
Speaker bio – Professor Yi Wang
Professor Yi Wang is a Professor of Business and Management at the University of Bedfordshire. Working within the Business & Management Research Institute (BMRI), his areas of teaching expertise include Digital Technology Management, Data Analytics & Finance, and Finance & Economics for international supply chains.
Much of Professor Wang’s work with the BMRI is committed to producing and promoting highquality research that is relevant to the needs of the business community. His research interests include big data analytics, supply chain optimisation, and consumer behaviour. This event is free to attend and open to the public.
